While a parachute means nothing to someone who can both fly and turn intangible, it IS an awfully handy way to restrain the wearer when they're way too high up to survive the fall. Now, Tetsu Remi would most certainy need that parachute to keep from hitting the ground in a messy way, which is probably the reason why she grabbed the 'chute first...

Now, if only Ectogirl had something to pin the parachute in place with...wait a minute, Crystalline has loads of sharp, pointy things sticking off of her body! She even has a permanent-looking crop of them instead of hair on her head! Why, she'd make a PERFECT human staple, wouldn't she? Too bad it left so many tears in the fabric...but parachutes ARE fragile things, after all.

Her foes sufficiently restrained and headed back to the 1DF hangar, Ecto, ever eager to try new living experiences, takes a moment to sample one of Remi's cigarettes...hey, she tried to shove Ecto into a plane propeller, the least she can do is share. She doesn't have to yell so much about it, either.

"...ugh...ta-tastes like a street..."

My first entry into the 1DF contest, and DAMN, are my compositional skills degraded...it took a couple of efforts to get a layout I liked, and, even then, I totally sleazed off and used a photo for the background anyway. I know I'm gonna get docked points for it being in black and white, too...ah, well, at the very least I have a new funny pic of Ecto.
