Ancient Stuff: Dragongirl Zuki..?

Another seemingly random pic from the Christmas scans: back at the very beginning of my dA gallery are some pics of an old anime parody I once worked on called "Dragongirl Miko," about a Medieval dragon transplanted to present day and cared for by the teenage reincarnation of a powerful wizard who was her former adoptive father. It was inspired by "Project A-Ko," but owes a LOT more to the works of Rumiko Takahashi (Ranma 1/2, Inuyasha, Urusei Yatsura)...so much that I stopped working on it because it felt almost like plagiarism. Still, as one of the few fully-formed totally original (at least in terms of not relying on any fan characters) stories and casts I've created, it still pops up time and again (in fact, I've been itching to try and rework it again).

Of course, as often happens with me, elements of one story end up in others...and Miko's personality and many of her powers ended up becoming the basis of my K-Girl, Zuki. Hell, they even have the same hairstyle...anyway, much like I've been working Maisy into my superhero stuff, I decided to try seeing if Zuki would work as the lead in the "Dragongirl Miko" concept.

It's...not a perfect fit, but I might tweak this design for Miko herself, maybe merge it with her older designs. For now, though, the pair remain individuals.

Still, it's kinda interesting seeing Zuki in clothing for a change.
