PCA: Charra Perrot

Lead vocalist Charra Perrot of Team Eightball is a diva in the purest sense of the word; not as in "spoiled bratty singer bitch," but as in "classy, soulful powerhouse of song" type. Even by Chatot standards, the fiery Latina transfer student is gifted and has already had talent scouts sniffing around her dormroom door, waving contracts and making promises, but the only thing even more powerful than her singing voice is her sense of loyalty to her band. Besides, she hates the kind of "empty, prefab syntho-crap" they want her to sing, having found her muse in, of all things, heavy metal and industrial music; Aretha Franklin by way of Marilyn Manson, as it were.
Between Charra's vocals and Hex's guitar, Team Eightball commands the stage like a force of nature. Unfortunately, as the weakest member in the arena, Charra is convinced, with good reason, that she's the weak link in the team and that SHE is why they're never out of the low-middle rankings, not that the others would ever even CONSIDER getting rid of her. This insecurity has led her to be almost recklessly fearless in all other matters, with a temper that will NOT back down until she is literally dragged, kicking and screaming, away from the confrontation in question.
Another effect her presence has had on the band is a broadening of their music selection, taking cues from Hex's closet love of old-school blues and soul. When you've got a songbird like Charra working the stage for you, after all, you want to give her room to soar, and with Hex able to tear through a blues riff that would make the hardest Dark-type cry, the others know to just sit back and let the two work their magic.
