SW: Padawannabe 3.1?

The more I read up on the Stenax, the more I learned that it would be more likely for a Vulcan to take up interpretive dance than a Stenax be allowed anywhere NEAR the Jedi Temple...by pure accident, however, I discovered an arguably MORE obscure avian race that shared many of the Stenax's desirable traits and also had definite ties to the Clone Wars. On top of THAT, they were created by Chris "I fuckin' DEFINED the X-Men, dammit!" Clairemont.
The S'kytri were introduced in the first Marvel "Star Wars" annual, where it was revealed Obi-Wan, Anakin, and Darth Vader ("WHA?!" Don't worry, they made a retcon that fixed that little pre-"Empire Strikes Back" gaffe) had, during the Clone Wars, freed their planet from some still-unrevealed baddie. On top of that, years later Vader would take one as a secret apprentice (a'la "The Force Unleashed") and turn her into a Dark Jedi tyrant who would later develop a vendetta against Han Solo.
...of course, that has no bearing on this girl.
The most difficult part of her design was trying to translate the self-contradicting images of the S'kytris' wings, particularly how they could be on their back AND connected to their arms AND extend way past their hands in flight AND still allow for then to wear clothing that wraps around their lower-to-middle torso AND...well, you get the picture.
The solution was to have the whole wing structure fold up like a collapsing umbrella, with the back-mounted struts lifting up to resemble folded "Gargoyle"-style batwings and the arm struts folding back along their forearms, while the wing membranes connect either to their ribcage or their spinal ridge. Not a perfect compromise, I suppose, but better than nothing.
Since she'd be learning about lightsaber combat about two or three decades before Vader's pupil would create a style appropriate for their race, I decided she would be better suited to using the tonfa-style 'sabers I gave the Squib a few pics back, although probably just one.
...for some reason, the S'kytris' natural sonic attack ability made me think of calling her "Twitii." She'd probably kill me if I did, tho'...
